Fade in on students with a hunger for fame and a face and a name to remember.  PLEASE IM A STAR is a play taking place in acting class with selections from SMASH and highlighting monologues from your favorite classic plays.  This performance demonstrates the highs and lows of performance, and the struggles and sacrifices that come with pursuing a career in show business.  Through the eyes of the students we dive into the quest for artistic success, each with their own insecurities and ambitions that consume their body and soul.  Prepare for a night of drama and laughter and tears just like pearls.  Watch as these students share their passion and fight for their big dreams.
